For Our Ongoing Mission
The Canterbury and East Kent Circuit is a vibrant network of Methodist and Local Ecumenical partnership (Anglican and United Reformed) churches serving communities across a rich and diverse part of Kent. Rooted in the love of Jesus Christ, the Circuit exists to support local churches, encourage faith, and share the Gospel in ways that are welcoming, practical, and relevant to everyday life.
Our Circuit is all about connection, care, and shared mission. We work together to strengthen both large and small congregations, offering pastoral support, practical resources, and opportunities for churches to grow in confidence as they serve their neighbourhoods. Whether through worship, community outreach, or compassionate care, we seek to reflect God’s love in action.
We are passionate about helping people grow in faith and discipleship. Through joyful worship, service, learning, and fellowship, the Circuit encourages people of all ages to explore Christianity more deeply and live out their faith in meaningful ways. Our churches are places where people can belong, be supported, and discover how they can make a difference in the world.
Inspired by Methodist values and committed to justice, dignity, and inclusion, the Canterbury and East Kent Circuit embraces both the challenges and opportunities of serving a wide geographical area. We are dedicated to building strong communities, nurturing spiritual life, and working together for the good of the wider world. At its heart, the Circuit is a partnership of churches and people sharing one calling: to make God’s love known across Canterbury and East Kent.
